Athletics:

The Jills volleyball team open their regional play tonight in a home event at 7:00 PM against Hurley. And just a reminder: The cost of the regional and sectional sporting events is $4.00 for child/student/adult. For children age 6 and under it is $1.00. You will not be able to use your passes to get into these events.

The volleyball C team will be having a pizza party Wednesday after school. Meet in Ms. Raba’s room.

The Trident Swim Team will have a Conference meet in Lakeland on Oct. 29th.

Cross Country runners will be dismissed at 11:25 this Friday for lunch. Bus is leaving at noon for the Sectionals in Amery.

Meetings:

2nd semester CNA students: There will be a meeting tomorrow morning, Oct 20, at 7:45 in the library. Plan to attend. If for some reason you are not able to attend, see Mrs. Krings.

There will be a Student Council meeting this Thursday at 7:45 in the Library. This is for all Student Council members.


Student Services:
Career tours at Chippewa Valley Technical College are now available. The next one is Tues., Nov. 2nd. Check out the Student Services bulletin board for more information.

A representative from the UW-Barron is here today in the career lab from 11:30 to 1:00 to visit with prospective students.

Check out the Student Services Bulletin Board for more information on FALL CAMPUS TOURS AND PREVIEWS to the following schools. This is an opportunity to explore career options, learn more about financial aid, and tour the campus.

WITC Rice Lake Campus will be holding a FALL EXPO next week Tuesday, Oct. 26from 1-5pm.
The University of Wisconsin Superior will hold their Fall Preview Days on this Thursday and Friday, Oct 21st and 22nd, and also on Friday, Oct. 29th.


Sophomores: You will be taking the PLAN Test tomorrow (Wednesday). The test will run from 8:15 through 4th period and will be in the cafeteria. The International Students will not be taking this test.

Juniors: Your ASVAB Test is this Thursday. The test will run from 8:15 through 4th period and will be in the cafeteria and the International Students will take this test.

Seniors: Be sure to check the window by Student Services for more scholarships. It is updated when new scholarships arrive and some of these scholarships have a deadline for when it needs to be turned in.
