General:

Christy Mountain is looking for workers and will be taking applications this week. Call 715-868-7800 for more information or to get an application,

The Salvation Army is looking for bell ringers for daytime and evenings. There is a sign-up sheet in the Library or you can contact Darnell Curran at 715-403-1955. This is another opportunity to serve your Community.

The Bear Club is looking for your used printer cartridges and unwanted cell phones. These items can be taken to Mr. Bunton’s room.

Students remember to get your PA’s turned in to the office.

Athletics:

Meetings, practices, etc:

Any student interested in forensics: There will be a meeting immediately after school today for anyone who did not attend the morning meeting. You need to sign up for categories and pick up the competition schedule. The meeting is in Mrs. Chopp’s room 740.

Student Services:

A representatives schedule Northern Michigan University will be here today

Scholarships: Reminder of The Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship which is due December 1. With no school next week it is a great time to be working on this scholarship. If you still need details, stop in Student Services.

Seniors: If you are planning on attending a technical school or university, you should be working on completing your applications. If you need assistance, stop in Student Services.

Shop with a Cop has been set for December 11th (second Sat. in Dec.) from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. Student volunteers are needed. For more information or to sign up to volunteer, stop in Student Services.

Check out the Student Services Bulletin Board. You will find information on available scholarships and their due dates. You should check the bulletin board daily for updates and other information.
