MALES 17 AND 18 YOU NEED TO REGISTER FOR SELECTIVE SERVICE within a month of your 18th birthday. This is a federal law, and those who fail to do so may be denied student loans, job training, government jobs, and driver’s licenses in most states. We want you to have all the facts, take your civic responsibility seriously, and make the most of every opportunity. For registration details, stop into Student Services.

A FINANCIAL AID MEETING FOR SENIORS AND PARENTS will be held in the LHS auditorium on Wednesday, January 27 at 6:00 p.m. A financial aid expert will walk you through the process of completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and discuss scholarship opportunities. It is helpful to bring materials needed to complete the FAFSA form.

ONE-ON-ONE FINANCIAL AID ADVISING SESSIONS are available on Wednesday, February 17; 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sign up in Student Services.

WISCONSIN INDIANHEAD TECHNICAL COLLEGE – RICE LAKE CAREER DAY for Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors is Thursday, February 25. Experience two career sessions of your choice, hands-on awareness of WITC programs, and interaction with college instructors and students. Register in Student Services by the end of today.

SENIORS: Don’t forget to turn in your completed Career Reporting forms for the Reality Academy to Mrs. Kuehn or Student Services today.

ALL STUDENTS REGISTERED FOR THE 6TH HOUR LIFEGUARDING CLASS 2ND SEMESTER must see Mrs. Olson today if you have not already done so. Also, bring your swim suits and report to the pool for Monday’s 6th hour class.

BOYS BASKETBALL PRACTICE FOR SUNDAY HAS BEEN CHANGED to the following times: A Team is at 12:30-2:00 and the B and C team is at 1:00-2:00 at LHS.

CONGRATULATION TO OUR WRESTLERS who showed great team depth (5 starters were missing due to injuries or illness) in a great match at Northwestern last night. The team defeated the Tigers 34-32 to raise their conference record to 6-0. A reminder to all wrestlers that practice is at 3:30 today.
