HON Academic All-Conference Team

The Heart ‘O North (HON) Conference has a long and rich history dating back to 1929. The conference has seen school affiliation changes over time, but since 1994 the HON Conference has consisted of the following schools: Barron, Bloomer, Chetek, Cumberland, Hayward, Ladysmith, Northwestern, and Spooner. In 2002 the HON Principals, in addition to setting policies/procedures for recognizing athletic achievements of our students, created guidelines for recognizing students with outstanding academic achievement and naming them to the HON Academic All Conference team.

Each member school has identified three graduating seniors who have been named to the HON Academic All-Conference Team. The selections are based on the following criteria:

Highest cumulative grade point average over a seven semester time frame
Highest ACT or SAT score rank
And participation in a minimum of two school sponsored or endorsed service, leadership or volunteer organizations/programs/activities.

This year's Ladysmith High School Academic All-Conference members are: Nick Hebard, Cassie Long, and BradyZuck.
