ANNOUNCEMENTS –MONDAY, APRIL 12

UW SUPERIOR’S SPRING PREVIEW is Saturday, April 17. You’ll get to see the incredible new Yellowjacket Union and can attend the UW-Superior Theatre production of “Morning’s at Seven”. Register online on the university’s web site.

JUNIORS MAY SIGN UP to visit with a college representative from WITC on Tuesday, April 13 at 10:00 a.m. Sign up in Student Services.

CAREER VALLEY: LHS juniors will have the opportunity to attend Career Valley as a career exploration experience. This event brings many business and post-secondary education exhibits to one location at the Eau Claire County Exposition Center on Thursday, May 6. Sign up in Student Services by April 29.

THERE WILL BE A BEAR CLUB MEETING on Tuesday morning at 7:50 in Mr. Bunton’s room – anyone can come and join in on the fun! – Again, there will be a BEAR club meeting on Tuesday morning at 7:50 in Mr. Bunton’s room.

SWIMMING AND DIVING TEAM SIGN-UP sheet is in the library. Girls should sign up by April 18. There will be a meeting in the cafeteria during lunch on April 19

SENIORS: Remember to get one of your baby pictures for the senior slide show to Ashley Zahorones or to Student Services as soon as possible.

HOSA MEMBERS COMPETING AT STATE are asked to stop into Student Services during their study hall or lunch today.

ATTENTION FORENSICS TEAM! This is the week before State. Don't leave your final practices until the last minute.

Mrs. Chopp needs people to work concessions for the track meet tomorrow (Tuesday). Remember that all State competitors are responsible for helping raise funds, so see Mrs. Chopp ASAP if you're available.

THE FORENSICS TEAM WILL BE SPONSORING A HAT & SUNGLASSES DAY on Wednesday. For a one dollar donation, you can wear your hat and/or sunglasses to class. Be aware that you may be asked to remove them during class if they are a distraction.

GIRL'S VOLLEYBALL OPEN GYM is held each Sunday evening from 4 to 6 pm at the elementary school. Any girl's interested in playing volleyball are welcome. You do NOT have to be on a high school team in order to participate. Come and join the fun!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE JAZZ ENSEMBLE FOR EARNING A TRIP TO THE STATE COMPETITION!
