General:
Girls Volleyball open gym will be held each Sun. night from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ladysmith Elementary School. All girls interested in playing are welcome to attend.

Jostens will be coming to LHS on Thurs. March 31, during 5A and 5B lunch times to pass out graduation orders. You have to pay your balance in order to pick up your Jostens items.

The Career Cruising website added six new occupations to the Explore Careers section this month. Like all occupation profiles in their database, these new profiles include multimedia interviews with two individuals working in the field and detailed information that can help you better understand the occupation.
The new occupations are:
- Amusement and Recreation Attendant
- Electronics Engineer
- Fire Investigator
- Proofreader
- Post-Secondary Education Administrator
- Volunteer Manager
The website and our district’s user information is posted in all computer labs.

Reminder to be using the Career Cruising website to not only learn about jobs, training and education programs, but help you search for a summer job!

There will be an ATV Safety Class that will be on April 19 and April 21 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM and April 23 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This will be at the Ladysmith Library. Cost is $10.00 per student or adult. You must be twelve years of age to take this class. Adults or parents are welcome. Call 715-532-0282 to pre register.

Please place blue recycling containers in the hallway to be emptied at this time.

Student Services:

Keep checking the Student Services Bulletin Board and window for scholarship and college information.

There will be an ACT English/Language Arts Test prep 1st and 2nd hour on Thursday, March 31 in room 430. Students must sign-up in Student Services.

There will be a senior meeting in the auditorium today during 1st Hour.

Students participating in HOSA state should see Mrs. Opelt for materials.

UW Barron County will be holding campus tours on Tues., April 5 beginning at 6:15 PM. For those interested, it is a time for both you and your parents to meet faculty and staff, while learning more about academic programs. No need to miss school so check this out.

Seniors that signed the Wisconsin Covenant during your ninth grade year have until April 1 to turn in their paper work to be eligible for a grant offered through the program. If you have maintained a B average throughout your four years of high school, demonstrated good citizenship, participated in your community, completed the FAFSA, and applied to a Wisconsin College you are still eligible.
