LHS Named a Wisconsin School of Recognition
Ladysmith High School (LHS) has been named a Wisconsin School of Recognition for academic achievement, by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. On October 18 the state will have a recognition ceremony at the state capitol preceded by a brunch with the state superintendent. The award consists of a $2,000.00 check to our high school, a commemorative plaque, and an award logo to be used on school correspondence. In addition, LHS is now eligible to compete for a $250,000.00 grant and our teachers are eligible to compete for the Teacher Fellowship Program.
