National Merit Commended Student

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation has announced the Commended Students in the 2011 National Merit Scholarship Program. Ladysmith High School senior Sigrid Stensvold is one of the Commended students for 2011. Commended Students must place in the top 5% of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2011 competition by taking the 2009 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifing Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
