Attention Forensics members!
There will be a meeting at 8:00 AM in Mrs. Chopp’s room today to discuss team shirts. If you want a say in this year’s design, plan to attend this meeting. There has been a change to the date of the Forensics DISTRICT competition in Eau Claire. This year, it will be held on March 14. SUB-DISTRICTS are still being held in Rice Lake on Feb. 17.
Seniors are reminded to bring in a baby picture of themselves for the senior slide show by Fri. Feb. 4. Give to Mrs. Peggar in the library.
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, are you looking for a gift for that special someone or a friend? Well you can fix that problem and support Prom too. Feb. 7 thru Feb. 11 you can purchase a rose for $3.00 or a carnation for $2.00 before school. All proceeds benefit the 2011 Prom. Flowers will be delivered on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14 during third hour.

More scholarships have been listed and deadlines are coming up for many of these scholarships. You need to keep checking the Student Services Bulletin Board and stop into Student Services for more information.
Fri. is the last day you can earn credits for WITC in the Business Department, please turn your registration form in to Mrs. Titera! Take advantage of these credits now while you can, you can’t get them if you don’t register!
Students interested in exploring the opportunities available at WITC can sign up to go to a career day at WITC on Thur. March 3 from 9:30-11:20 AM. Students will have the chance to meet professors, tour the campus and explore a variety of career interests. See Student Services for more information or to sign up. Registration is due by Tues. Feb. 8.
Seniors that will be attending college in the Fall and did not attend the Financial Aid Meeting last week may pick up a folder in Student Services that contains important information regarding signing up for loans, grants and scholarships. Also, there are still spaces available on Feb. 9 to receive help completing the FAFSA application. Stop by to check times
The Rusk County Community Foundation has (3) $500.00 grants available for a project which will fill a school or community need. The deadline for the application is Feb. 11 - See Student Services for the application.
Juniors and Seniors: CVTC will have career tours available on the Eau Claire campus on Feb. 15. Stop by student services to see what tours are available or for more information.
