Nordic Ski Team Update

Twelve cross country skiers from the Ladysmith Nordic Ski Team competed in the Northern Conference Ski meet this past week. The conditions were a little brisk but that provided a well packed and very fast course for the skiers from all around Northern Wisconsin. Considering that this was our first year as a team, all the skiers did a fantastic job and we fully expect to build upon this season’s experiences and be back next year stronger than ever. Of special note, International students Mariana Morales Rodriguez (Mexico) and Martin Boye (Netherlands) each competed in what was their very first ski race. For Mariana, this was her first real winter – snow included!!
