The University of Wisconsin - Superior annual Math Meet was held yesterday Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Fourteen teams from high schools in Wisconsin and Minnesota attended: Ashland, Barnum, Cloquet, Drummond, Grantsburg, Hayward, Ladysmith, Northwestern, Osceola, Superior, Rice Lake, and Webster.
The competition began with a Team Event, in which the eight-member teams collaborate in solving ten problems within 20 minutes. Schools with 500 or more students compete in the large-school division while the other schools form the small-school division.
The winner in the small school division was Ladysmith with a score of 70 (out of 100).
