General:
There will be a meeting for any girls interested in playing Volleyball next fall on Tues. May 17, at 7:45 AM in the Library. This is a mandatory meeting so please mark it on your calendars.
Marshfield Clinic – Rice Lake Center will be offering FREE WIAA Sport Screening on Wed., May 18.
We will be having a Senior Art exhibit in the Library, starting this Fri., May 13. Any senior who wants to participate should bring their work to the Art Room ASAP.
Junior Class Prom will be held on Sat., May 14, from 8:00-midnight at LMS. This year’s theme is Hollywood’s Roaring Twenties. Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased until Fri. May 13.
The junior class is looking for white Christmas lights for prom this weekend. If anyone is willing to bring them in it will be greatly appreciated. All lights will be returned in the same condition as they were when they were brought in. Please bring to Mrs. Moravec’s room by Fri. morning. Thank you.
Students are reminded Summer School registration is due to Mrs. Moravec by Fri. May, 13.
On Thu., May 19, Mrs. Harelstad’s textile design class will be sponsoring an eco-friendly fashion show at 6PM in the auditorium. Cost is $3.00 and all ages are welcome. See Mrs. Harelstad if you are interested in helping backstage or modeling and also for more details.
Student Service:
Students interested in earning credit for working throughout the summer should see Mrs. Opelt for more information.

General:
Seniors: your senior pictures are due by December 17 for the yearbook.
Staff - don’t forget to try the new tastefully simple dip in the teachers’ lounge. The Dance team appreciates all your orders. This Fund Raiser will help fund the Dance Clinic. Orders will be accepted until Friday and will be received before Christmas.
Jostens will be in the café during the lunch periods on Monday, December 13, to deliver class rings.
Six Ladysmith students are participating in the Rusk County Library Art Gallery Exhibit, which will be up until February. Everyone is invited to the public reception today from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at the library. Refreshments will be served.
The Bear Club is looking for your used printer cartridges and unwanted cell phones. These items can be taken to Mr. Bunton’s room.
Athletics:
Meetings, practices, etc:
There is a HOSA officers meeting with Mrs. Krings this Thursday in the Nurses Office at 7:50.
The Forensics practice schedule is posted on Mrs. Chopp’s door. Please sign up for a date and time as soon as possible to come in and select pieces and practice. Remember, you must have your pieces chosen and attend practice before Christmas break, or you will not be able to compete. See Mrs. Chopp with any questions.
Student Council is sponsoring a Winter Wonderland Dance after this Friday’s after the home basketball game. Time is 9 to midnight and cost is $4.00. However, if you bring a canned food item cost is $3.00 per person. If you are bringing a Non LHS guest—you must sign him/her up in the Library no later than Thursday (Dec 9) at 3:30.

For those who have signed up - Shop with a Cop is Saturday, December 11 from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.
Check out the Student Services Bulletin Board. You will find information on available scholarships and their due dates. You should check the bulletin board daily for updates and other information.
