Juniors interested in taking the PSAT need to sign-up Student Service. The test day is Wed., Oct 13 and cost is $14.00. Deadline to sign up is Sept 30th.
Shanty Town helps to fund the next Habitat for Humanity house in Rusk County. It will be held Sept. 18 & 19 at the Rusk County Fair grounds. More information on how you can participate is available in the office.
The Pep Club will be sponsoring a dance this Friday, Sept. 17, following the football game. The dance will be held in the Cafeteria until 12:00 pm. Admission is $3.00 per person and all students are invited to attend.
Bingo at the Ladysmith Nursing Home has been rescheduled for next week Tuesday—a School activity pre-arranged needs to be completed and turned into Student Services or Mrs. Kuehn.
There is dance practice for the Homecoming performance this Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00. If you have any questions contact Mrs. Olson.

Sept 14, 2010 ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Juniors interested in taking the PSAT should see Student Service to sign-up. The test day is Wed., Oct 13 and cost is $14.00. Deadline to sign up is Sept 30th.
Shanty Town helps to fund the next Habitat for Humanity house in Rusk County. It will be held Sept. 18 & 19 at the Rusk County Fair grounds. More information on how you can participate is available in the office.
The Pep Club will be sponsoring a dance this Friday, Sept. 17, following the football game. The dance will be held in the Cafeteria until 12:00 pm. Admission is $3.00 per person and all students are invited to attend. Any non-LHS guest will need to be signed up in the Library by Wednesday, Sept. 15 at 4:00 PM.
Our girls golf team defeated Northwestern in a tie breaker last night with a score of 205. Special congratulations to Haley Seifert and Jenny Stone, they tied for second place and earned 4 conference points.
There will be a BEAR Club meeting this Thursday morning at 7:55am in the Library. This is an open meeting and anyone interested in joining the BEAR Club should attend.
There is dance practice tomorrow evening in the gym from 6:30 to 8:00. Be stretched and ready to go. There will also be a practice this Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00. If you have any questions contact Mrs. Olson.
All money for CC shirts must be turned by tomorrow and the Cross Country will be dismissed today at 1:55—your bus will leave at 2:10.
Pep club would like to remind students there is a VB game tonight, a home swimming meet on Thursday and a home football game this Friday. Come out and support your teams.

At the request of several students who were unable to attend the after school tryouts, there will be a special musical tryout session tomorrow, Tuesday, at 7:30 AM in the auditorium.

Seniors interested in early graduation need to see Mrs. Opelt for an application. Seniors remember to schedule your senior meeting with Mrs. Opelt.

There will be a National Honor Society meeting at 7:55 in Mr. Bunton’s room (room 610) this Wednesday morning.

Internationally known Sno-boarder, Steve Fisher, will be signing autograph at Mt. Scenario tonight at 4:00. Come and meet the legend and bring your skateboards and sno-boards for Steve to sign.
