Brent Daniels Assembly

Yesterday, LHS students and staff were entertained by recording artist Brent Daniels. Using his keyboard, recording microphone and synthesizer, Brent taught students and staff how music is composed using computers and digital technology for albums, movies, soundtracks, television shows, video games and more in the entertainment industry. Students participated in the program helping Brent create a one-of-a- kind, on the spot sound creation and song composition to the delight of all who witnessed it.

Brent is an avid advocate for education and the role positive decision-making has in the lives of students. He uses his own story and the impact it made in his successful career.

Pep assembly

There will be a pep assembly Thursday at 3:00 PM to recognize our state swimmers, our fall all-conference athletes, and introduce our student actors from "Much Ado About Nothing". We are using a late schedule so the final day of state testing is not disrupted.

(Girls golf will not be announced.) The assembly is for the student actors of our fall play, our athletes being recognized as all conference, and our conference champions and state participants.
