General
Volleyball players are reminded to sign up with Mrs. Peggar to work in the concession stand on Friday, March 11.
Student Services
Seniors the career lab will be open at 7:30 AM Wednesday and Thursday morning and also Wednesday night until 4:30 PM for any Seniors who would like to work on scholarships. Please stop in Student Services to reserve a computer, we will open the Library Computer Lab if we have more students needing a computer than the career lab can accommodate. Scholarship deadline is Thursday at 3:30 PM.
Students interested in the medical field may apply for a summer program that focuses on cardiac health. The camp is located in Chicago or Milwaukee and runs for one week at a time. See Student Services for more information.

Also, there has been a change to the date of the Forensics DISTRICT competition in Eau Claire. This year, it will be held on March 14. SUB-DISTRICTS are still being held in Rice Lake on Feb. 17.

The cost is $35.00 with a name printed on the back, or $30.00 with no name on the back. Please remember to bring your money to the meeting. Any questions please contact Rachel Rands.

All students enrolled in lifeguarding we begin swimming on Monday. Please remember your suit, towel & goggles. Meet in the pool fourth hour.

Jan. 26th, in homeroom you will be filling out a SHORT questionnaire about yourself and then about two weeks later you will have the opportunity to find out who are your top ten matches in the school. It’s as easy as uno, dos, tres. Look for the posters around school for more information.
This is requested by the Ladysmith Police Department. The ice under both bridges is unsafe for snowmobiles.

GIRL'S VOLLEYBALL OPEN GYM is held each Sunday evening from 4 to 6 pm at the elementary school. Any girl's interested in playing volleyball are welcome. You do NOT have to be on a high school team in order to participate. Come and join the fun!
REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR THE APRIL 10 ACT is March 5. Juniors who have not previously taken the ACT should register for the April test. You may register on line at act.org or you may pick up a registration packet in Student Services. The next test date is June 12. Juniors should take the ACT prior to the fall of their senior year.
STUDENTS: There will be a Science ACT Test Prep on March 17 during periods 7 & 8. The English ACT Test Prep will be on March 31 during periods 1 & 2. The Math ACT Test Prep will be on April 8 during periods 6 & 7. Be sure to stop in at Student Services to pick-up your ACT Test Prep packet.

STUDENTS ATTENDING MEDICAL DISCOVERY DAYS are reminded to turn in your pre-arranges before Wednesday morning. The bus will depart on Wednesday morning at 8:15. Also, remember that you may not wear jeans on either day.
FORENSICS STUDENTS going to read at the elementary school today need to be dismissed early. Those students with a class during 5A should be released at noon to eat lunch. Students with a 5B class, should be dismissed at 12:35. We will be leaving from the Commons at 12:45.
FAFSA APPLICATION ASSISTANCE will be available on Monday, March 8. Seniors and their parents may sign up for a 45 minute session between 1:00 – 4:30 to meet with a Vikki Driving-Hawk of Great Lakes Higher Education. Sign up in Student Services.
